About CFX
Conflux is a blockchain designed to combine features of both public and permissioned networks, aiming for high throughput while maintaining decentralization, with a notable focus on the Chinese market. Its token is CFX.
Conflux Network was founded by a team including Turing Award winner Andrew Yao, one of the few blockchain projects with an academic pedigree at that level, launching its mainnet in 2020 out of research at Tsinghua University in China.
Conflux uses a Tree-Graph consensus structure that allows multiple blocks to be produced and confirmed in parallel rather than in strict sequence, aiming for higher throughput than traditional single-chain blockchains while maintaining strong security guarantees.
CFX pays transaction fees and secures the network through staking. Conflux has positioned itself as one of the few public blockchains operating with regulatory compliance in mainland China, giving it a distinct role bridging Chinese Web3 development with the broader global blockchain ecosystem.
