These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CoinScanner website at coinscanner.tech and related services (the "Service"), operated by Agreed Financial Tech Private Limited ("we", "us", "our", or the "Company"), a company incorporated in India. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. The Service — what CoinScanner is (and is not)

CoinScanner is an informational platform that aggregates and displays cryptocurrency market data — such as prices, trading volume, charts, and news — sourced from third-party providers including CoinDCX, TradingView, exchangerate-api.com, and newsdata.io.

CoinScanner does not provide financial, investment, trading, tax, or legal advice. It does not offer, facilitate, broker, or execute any purchase, sale, exchange, custody, or transfer of cryptocurrency or any other asset. It is not a broker, exchange, wallet, custodian, or financial adviser.

3. Informational purpose only — no investment advice

All information on the Service is provided solely for informational and educational purposes. Nothing on the Service constitutes financial, investment, legal, accounting, or tax advice, and nothing on the Service is a recommendation, endorsement, or promotion of any cryptocurrency, token, exchange, wallet, protocol, or investment strategy. See our Disclaimer.

Cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile and risky. Any decision you make based on information from the Service is made at your own risk and is your sole responsibility. Market data may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate because it comes from third-party sources. You should conduct your own research and consult a qualified professional before making any financial decision.

4. Your account

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account. We verify your email and/or phone using one-time passcodes (OTPs); you are responsible for keeping access to your registered email and phone. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are involved in fraud, abuse, or unauthorised access.

You may also create an account using Sign in with Google. If you do, you remain responsible for the security of the Google Account you used, and you should be aware that losing access to that Google Account may mean losing access to your CoinScanner account. Information we receive from Google is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Providing a phone number is optional and is not required to create or use an account.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems; interfere with or disrupt the Service, including probing, scanning, or overloading our infrastructure; use any screen-scraper, spider, robot, bot, crawler, or other automated means to access, mine, harvest, or systematically extract data from the Service; interfere with, disrupt, or bypass any security or rate-limiting measures we may have in place, or attempt to reverse-engineer our internal APIs, except as expressly permitted by us in writing; reverse-engineer, copy, or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law; introduce malware or any harmful code; or misuse OTP, email, or messaging features, or use another person’s contact details without authorisation.

6. Affiliate links & third-party sites

The Service may contain affiliate links to third-party platforms such as cryptocurrency exchanges. If you click an affiliate link and take an action, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party websites, their content, products, services, or practices. Your dealings with them are solely between you and that third party, and are subject to their terms.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, branding, text, and software, is owned by the Company or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Market data and news are owned by their respective providers. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. Third-party trademarks, logos, and names (including those of cryptocurrency exchanges and data providers) remain the property of their respective owners; their display on the Service does not imply endorsement or affiliation.

8. Availability of the Service

We strive to keep the Service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may suspend, modify, update, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.

9. Force majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in providing the Service, or any interruption, downtime, data loss, or other performance issue, caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Such events include, without limitation, acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics or epidemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes or labour disputes, changes in law or regulation or government action, failures of the internet or telecommunications infrastructure, failures or outages of third-party service providers (including our cloud host, database, email, WhatsApp, market-data, or news providers), and cyberattacks.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that market data will be accurate, complete, or current.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company and its directors, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or any trading or investment losses, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim, or INR 1,000.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

13. Suspension & termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

14. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service, or update these Terms, at any time in our sole discretion, with or without prior notice. Updated Terms will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date, and it is your responsibility to check these Terms regularly. Your continued use of the Service after any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with an update, you must stop using the Service.

15. Dispute resolution

If any dispute arises out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service, you agree to first contact us in good faith at support@coinscanner.tech and use best efforts to resolve the dispute amicably through direct negotiation. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days of your written notice, either party may proceed to the courts identified in the Governing law section below. This clause does not limit our right to seek urgent injunctive or equitable relief in any court.

16. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory rights under the law of your country of residence, you agree that the courts of Thiruvallur, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.

17. Severability, waiver & entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if it cannot be so modified, it shall be severed, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Our failure or delay in enforcing any right or provision of these Terms shall not be a waiver of that right or provision. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
