Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 2026 · Agreed Financial Tech Private Limited · coinscanner.tech
This Cookie Policy explains how Agreed Financial Tech Private Limited ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the CoinScanner website at coinscanner.tech (the "Service"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to keep you logged in, and to remember your preferences.
2. Our approach: strictly-necessary only
CoinScanner uses cookies for security and, as of this update, basic usage analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or sell any data to advertisers.
3. Cookies we use
Session cookie — keeps you signed in and maintains your logged-in session. Set with HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, and Secure over HTTPS. Strictly necessary; lasts up to 30 days.
CSRF token — protects forms and requests against cross-site request forgery attacks. Strictly necessary; lasts for the session.
4. Local storage
We use your browser’s local storage to remember your light/dark theme preference and currency preference. These stay on your device, are not sent to our servers, and are not used to track you.
5. Third-party content
Some resources (such as fonts and icon libraries) are loaded from third-party providers to display the site. Market data and news are fetched by our servers from providers such as CoinDCX and newsdata.io and are not used to set tracking cookies on your device. The TradingView chart widget embedded on coin detail pages is loaded directly in your browser and may set its own cookies under TradingView's cookie policy; if you do not open a coin detail page or the chart popup, this widget does not load. We use Google Analytics (GA4) on every page to understand overall site usage — it sets its own cookies (such as _ga) in your browser under Google's privacy policy. If you are logged in, GA4 also receives your internal account ID so we can see logged-in vs. anonymous usage patterns; it does not receive your name, email, or phone number.
6. Managing cookies
Because our cookies are strictly necessary, disabling them will prevent you from logging in and using account features. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. To learn how, check your browser’s help documentation.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date.
